DR. RAFAEL SÁNCHEZ ACOSTA

Has his practice in the Dominican Republic, he is a graduate of the Ibero-American University (UNIBE), where he obtained the title of Doctor of Medicine, honorable mention (Cum Laude) in 2008. In the course of 2011 he entered to the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces where he obtained the title of General Surgeon in 2015. He moved to Mexico City in 2016 and performed the subspecialty in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the National Medical Center November 20, endorsed by the National Autonomous University of Mexico from where he graduated in 2019. During his career and academic training, qualities of responsibility, ethics and academic dedication stand out, he has remained participating in national and international conferences as a participant and exhibitor, presenting his work scientists obtaining due recognition. He took courses on research, education, innovation applied to medicine, vascular microsurgery, and advanced management in facial reconstruction. He also carried out international academic rotations of Liposculpture and marking in high definition and body and gluteal contouring. He is a member of the Dominican Medical College (CMD), the Dominican Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SODOCIPRE), the Mexican Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery (AMCPER), of the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery (FILACP) and of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Society (ISAPS). He has worked as a volunteer at the Cruz Jiminian Foundation and at the Francisco Moscoso Puello Hospital on multiple occasions. For Dr. Sánchez, Plastic Surgery combines art and science; The doctor has a constant and continuous search for new technologies applied to himself, when he is not in the operating room he takes refuge in his family, reading, general culture and his taste for art, his motto is the search for perfection through excellence.
